Applysent vs Jobright

Last updated 6 min read

Pick Jobright if you are looking for US-based roles and want a large job feed with one-click autofill that you drive yourself, on the web or its free iPhone app. Pick Applysent if you want the employer's form filled and submitted for you inside your own filters, with an approval step, a receipt of every answer and an automatic refund when a submission fails.

Before you read: who wrote this

We make Applysent, so weigh this comparison accordingly. Jobright facts come only from Jobright's own website, privacy policy and App Store listing as checked on 10 October 2026. Where Jobright does not say something publicly, we write "not stated" rather than guess.

These two products overlap less than their marketing suggests. Jobright leads with job matching and autofill, where you open an application and it completes the fields. Applysent is an auto-apply service that completes and sends the form on the employer's hiring system for you. If that distinction is new, read auto-apply vs autofill extensions first, because it decides most of what follows.

How each one works

Jobright

Jobright describes itself as an AI job search copilot. It matches you with openings, offers one-click autofill on applications, generates a tailored résumé, surfaces insider connections at companies and includes a chat assistant it calls Orion.

Its privacy policy gives a useful clue about the workflow. If you connect Gmail, Jobright reads it only to find verification-code emails from hiring systems such as Greenhouse, so it can finish an application you started. That points to a model where you begin each application and Jobright completes it. The menu also lists an AI Agent, but we could not see what it does or whether it submits without you, so we have not counted it here.

Applysent

Applysent starts from your résumé and your filters: titles, contract type, remote or on-site, locations, salary floor, seniority and visa sponsorship. It gives each matching role a score and ignores anything under your threshold. For the roles that pass, it rewrites your résumé to the posting's language without adding experience you lack, answers the form's custom questions from your profile and submits the application on the employer's own system.

In Review mode, each application waits for you, and you can edit the résumé or any answer before approving. Autopilot sends applications without that step, but only for roles inside your filters, and you can pause it whenever you like. Every submission produces a receipt, and every application sits in one tracker with statuses from Applied to Offer.

Where the differences actually matter

  • Who presses submit. With Jobright's autofill, you are present for each application. With us, you can be present (Review mode) or not (Autopilot). If you want to read every form yourself anyway, autofill may suit you fine.
  • Geography. Jobright's App Store listing says it currently lists U.S.-based roles only. We apply wherever employers using our supported hiring systems post roles, so job seekers outside the US have more to gain from us.
  • Knowing the price. Neither of us publishes paid pricing today. That is a fair criticism of both, and worth remembering before you commit time to either.
  • Proof of what was sent. We keep a field-by-field receipt. Jobright does not say publicly whether it keeps a comparable record.

Jobright: pros and cons

Pros

  • A broad set of job-search tools in one place: matching, autofill, résumé tailoring, insider connections and an assistant.
  • The iPhone app is free to download.
  • Autofill keeps you in charge of each application, since you start it.
  • Its privacy policy explains narrowly why it reads Gmail when you connect it, which is clearer than many tools manage.

Cons

  • Listings are limited to U.S.-based roles, per the App Store.
  • No public pricing page, and no public terms or refund policy we could load.
  • No hiring systems are named beyond Greenhouse, so you cannot check coverage before signing up.
  • Android availability and the AI Agent's behaviour are not stated.

Applysent: pros and cons

Pros

  • Submits the application for you, with an optional approval step before anything leaves.
  • A receipt shows exactly where each application went and what every field said.
  • Failed submissions are refunded to your balance without you asking.
  • Right-to-work answers are captured once and reused, which helps if you need sponsorship or apply across borders.
  • Invite-only for now: join the waitlist, or begin straight away with an access code.

Cons

  • Paid pricing has not been announced.
  • BambooHR and Paylocity are not live yet; the 10 live systems include Lever, Greenhouse and Workday.
  • It does not apply through LinkedIn Easy Apply or Indeed.
  • It is new, with no long track record or body of public reviews yet.
  • There is no native app; you use the web app in your phone's browser.

Who should pick which

Choose Jobright if your search is US-only, you like a recommendation feed, and you would rather open each application yourself and let autofill do the typing. It is also the more natural fit if you want networking help alongside applications.

Choose Applysent if you want applications sent for you on employers' own forms, need to see afterwards exactly what was submitted, or are searching outside the US. If the roles you want sit mostly on Greenhouse or Workday today, check back when those systems go live, or compare more options in our ranking of auto-apply tools and the list of Jobright alternatives.
