Tsenta alternatives worth trying in 2026

Last updated 5 min read

Jobbie is the closest Tsenta alternative if you also want applications sent through Indeed, and Applysent fits people who want a receipt of every field submitted and a hard salary floor. AIApply suits those who want interview practice in the same account, while Simplify and LazyApply cover the extension-based route.

What Tsenta offers, and why some people switch

Tsenta is an AI career agent that opens an employer's form and submits it, with a Chrome extension, iOS and Android apps, iMessage, WhatsApp and an MCP server or CLI alongside its web dashboard. Its pricing page names 19 hiring systems, from Workday and Greenhouse to iCIMS and Zoho Recruit. It tailors a résumé and cover letter on every tier, free included. That is a generous starting point, so the reasons to look elsewhere are mostly about fit.

  • A one-off free plan. The free plan is 25 applications in total, not per month. Paid plans are Starter $19/mo (600 per 30-day cycle), Pro $39/mo (1,500) and Power $99/mo (4,500), as listed in October 2026.
  • No rollover. Unused allowance does not carry into the next cycle.
  • Allowance refunds, not money refunds. Applications that never reach the employer are returned to your allowance, but Tsenta's terms do not address refunds of payments.
  • Mixed coverage figures. The pricing page mentions 30+ supported systems while the homepage says nineteen, so check your target employers directly.
  • A very young company. Per its Y Combinator profile, Tsenta was founded in 2026 and has a team of two.

Disclosure: Applysent is our product, so read our take on it with that in mind. The Applysent vs Tsenta comparison goes feature by feature, and our 2026 roundup covers the rest of the market.

Jobbie, if Indeed matters to you

Jobbie applies on Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, Paylocity, JazzHR, Workable and BambooHR, and on Indeed once you connect your Indeed account. It runs on web, iOS and Android with nothing to install. The web plan is $29.99/mo for 1,000 applications a month; there is no free tier, and the 7-day trial asks for a payment method.

Good fit for: people whose target roles are posted on Indeed and who are happy to pay from the start.

Applysent, if you want proof of what was sent

Applysent scores each role against your résumé and never applies below your threshold. It tailors the résumé without inventing experience, answers right-to-work questions from what you entered once in onboarding, and stores a receipt with every field and free-text answer. You can give it a separate application email address so employer replies stay out of your personal inbox.

Compared with Tsenta it is narrower today: 10 hiring systems are live (Lever, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Greenhouse, Workday, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Teamtailor and JazzHR) against Tsenta's 19, with BambooHR and Paylocity coming. There is no extension or native app, no LinkedIn Easy Apply or Indeed, pricing has not been announced, and as a new product it has no public track record yet.

Good fit for: people who want to audit every application and who mostly target employers on the systems already live.

AIApply, if you want interview prep too

AIApply bundles Auto Apply with a résumé builder, mock interviews, live interview coaching and a job board. Auto Apply costs $49/mo for 100 applications or $99/mo for 250, per its help centre, and unused credits roll over while you are subscribed. Note that tailored résumés and cover letters are $12/mo add-ons each, whereas Tsenta includes them.

Good fit for: people who would otherwise pay for a separate interview-practice tool.

Simplify, if you prefer to click submit

Simplify's free Copilot extension fills in applications when you click autofill, so you see each form before it goes. Simplify+ costs $19.99/week, $39.99/month or $89.99 for 3 months and adds tailored résumés, cover letters and answers. Its Autopilot beta, open to a subset of Simplify+ members, submits without a review step and is capped at 20 credits a week.

Good fit for: people who used Tsenta's extension more than its agent.

LazyApply, if you want yearly billing

LazyApply is a Chrome extension billed annually: Basic $99/yr for 15 applications a day, Premium $149/yr for 150 a day, and Ultimate $999/yr for 1,500 a day. Its homepage names Greenhouse, Dice, Indeed and ZipRecruiter. There is no free trial, but its FAQ offers a refund within 30 days if you applied to fewer than 100 jobs and the product did not work as expected.

Good fit for: people planning a long search who would rather pay once a year. Its site does not say whether you can review applications before they are sent.

Questions to answer before you switch

  • Which hiring systems do the employers on your shortlist use? Check against each tool's named list, for example Workday or Lever.
  • Do you want the tool to submit, or to fill forms you submit yourself? See auto-apply vs autofill extensions.
  • Is tailoring included, or an add-on?
  • What happens to applications that fail, and to unused allowance at the end of a cycle?
  • How many applications do you actually need? Our guide on how many jobs to apply to can help you size a plan.
