Why applying on Teamtailor takes so long

  1. 01

Each company's Teamtailor career site has its own questions and layout.

  2. 02

Many roles ask for a cover letter or a short motivation text.

  3. 03

There's no shared profile, so you start over at every employer.

What we automate on Teamtailor

  1. 01

    Find the posting

We spot new Teamtailor roles that match your filters, usually soon after they go live.

  2. 02

    Tailor your résumé

Your résumé is rewritten for that role's wording, without adding experience you don't have.

  3. 03

    Fill every field

Contact details, links, work authorisation, notice period and custom questions, all answered from your profile.

  4. 04

    Submit and record it

We submit the Teamtailor form and save a receipt showing every field. If it fails, it doesn't count.

Autofill vs auto-apply

Autofill

  • You find each posting yourself
  • Fills standard fields, if it recognises them
  • Leaves custom questions to you
  • You still press submit, one form at a time

Applysent auto-apply

  • Finds matching postings for you
  • Tailors your résumé to each role
  • Answers custom questions from your profile
  • Submits, then gives you a receipt

What a Teamtailor career site looks like

Teamtailor is a Swedish hiring system used by thousands of employers, with a strong base in the UK, France and the Nordic countries. Unlike systems that share one plain job-board design, Teamtailor career sites are heavily branded, with photos, videos and team pages. They often sit on company.teamtailor.com or on the employer's own domain, with jobs at addresses containing /jobs/.

Because each site looks different, it isn't always obvious you're on Teamtailor. A small "Powered by Teamtailor" link in the footer is the usual giveaway.

What the application form asks

Teamtailor forms are among the shortest of any major hiring system. The basics are often just:

  • First and last name.
  • Email and, frequently, phone.
  • CV upload.
  • A cover letter, either as a file or a text box for a short motivation.

On top of that, the employer can add its own questions (yes/no, multiple choice or short text), and there's always a consent to the employer's privacy policy. Some ask whether you'd like to stay in their talent pool for future roles.

The short form shifts the weight onto your CV and cover letter. With fewer fields to compare candidates on, a generic letter stands out for the wrong reasons.

Common questions about Teamtailor

What is Teamtailor Connect?

Many Teamtailor career sites have a "Connect" or "Join our talent community" option. It isn't an application for a specific job: it registers your interest so the employer can contact you about future openings. Apply to the job itself if there's one that fits.

Is the cover letter really necessary?

If the form asks, yes. Keep it to a few short paragraphs that tie your experience to the role. Our guide to cover letters on application forms covers when a letter helps and how long it should be.

Will my data be kept?

Teamtailor employers ask for consent to process your data and usually say how long they keep it. Under GDPR you can ask an employer to delete it.

Do I need an account?

No. You apply as a guest. There's no shared profile between employers, so each application starts afresh.

Making a short Teamtailor form count

  • Use a clean, single-column CV so the employer can scan it quickly.
  • Open the cover letter with the one piece of experience most relevant to the role.
  • Answer employer questions in full sentences, even when the box is small.
  • Mirror the job ad's language where it honestly describes your work; see how to tailor your résumé for each job.

Applysent and Teamtailor

Teamtailor is one of the systems Applysent supports today. It follows the same flow as every other live system: roles scored against your CV and filters, a tailored CV and a short cover letter written for each role, employer questions answered from your profile, and a receipt for every application. Review mode lets you read each cover letter before it goes.

If you're targeting European employers, Recruitee overlaps with many of the same kinds of companies and is also live; see the Recruitee page and the United Kingdom page.

What it won't do

  • It won't claim experience or skills that aren't in your profile, however short the form.
  • It won't apply to roles outside your filters or below your match threshold.
  • It can't guarantee an interview or a reply.

If you're weighing up whether automated applying fits your search, do auto apply tools work? gives a balanced view.

Frequently asked questions

Can Applysent apply to Teamtailor jobs now?

Yes. Teamtailor is live, so it can fill in Teamtailor applications today, with a receipt for each one and nothing sent until you approve it in review mode.

How do I know a career site uses Teamtailor?

Look for "Powered by Teamtailor" in the footer, or a teamtailor.com address.

Why are Teamtailor forms so short?

Employers choose which fields to include, and many keep the form brief to make applying easier. That puts more weight on your CV and cover letter.

Is joining the talent community the same as applying?

No. Connect or talent community sign-ups register general interest; to be considered for a specific role, apply to that job.
