Applysent vs AIApply
Last updated 4 min read
Pick AIApply if you want one subscription family that also covers mock interviews, live interview coaching, a résumé builder and a résumé translator, alongside auto-apply with a fit-score Hybrid mode. Pick Applysent if you want tailored résumés and cover letters included with every application rather than sold as add-ons, plus a named list of hiring systems and a receipt for each submission, accepting that its paid prices are not yet announced.
About this comparison
We make Applysent, so weigh this comparison accordingly. AIApply's prices are not shown on its public pricing page; the figures below come from its help centre articles, which we read on 10 October 2026.
AIApply is a broad job-search suite from a UK company, with auto-apply as one part of it. Applysent does one thing: find roles, tailor, apply and record. So part of this decision is whether you want a toolkit or a single focused tool.

How each one works
AIApply
You set criteria such as locations, with up to 10 physical locations per country plus Remote, and Auto Apply submits applications that match. Its Hybrid mode is a useful middle ground: roles scoring 75 or above on fit go out automatically, and weaker matches wait for you. Credits are one per application and roll over while you stay subscribed.
Around that sit separate tools: a résumé builder, cover-letter generator, mock interviews, Interview Buddy for live coaching, a résumé scanner and translator, and a job board. The site is available in 13 languages.
Applysent
Applysent scores each role against your résumé, applies only above your threshold, and rewrites your résumé to match the posting's wording without adding experience you do not have. It fills custom questions from your profile, which our guide on writing answers to screening questions explains in more depth.
Every plan will have the same features, with only the volume changing. There are no add-ons for tailoring or cover letters.
Pros and cons
AIApply: pros
- Interview preparation and live coaching in the same product family, which we do not offer.
- Hybrid mode that automates only strong matches.
- Credits roll over while subscribed.
- Credits are not spent on failed or unsupported applications.
- Multilingual site and a student discount.
AIApply: cons
- Tailored résumés and cover letters cost extra on Auto Apply, so the full per-job set-up is more than the base price.
- Prices live in help centre articles rather than on the pricing page, and one article lists conflicting figures.
- Hiring systems and countries supported are not named.
- Fees are generally non-refundable, and Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications are submitted, per its refund policy.
- Unused credits are lost after cancelling.
Applysent: pros
- Tailoring and cover letters included in every application.
- Named hiring systems, so you know where it can apply.
- Receipt for each application with the exact answers given.
- Early access by waitlist, or straight away with an access code.
- Salary floor and sponsorship filters applied before matching.
Applysent: cons
- No interview practice, résumé builder or translator.
- BambooHR and Paylocity are not live yet.
- Paid pricing not announced.
- No native mobile app.
- New, with no public reviews yet.
What does a tailored application cost on each?
On AIApply, per its help centre in October 2026, 100 applications a month is $49, and adding both tailored résumés and tailored cover letters adds $24 a month. Applysent has not announced prices, so a like-for-like cost comparison is not possible yet. What we can say is that tailoring will not be a separate charge. Check pricing for updates.
Whatever you use, tailoring is worth it when an ATS screen is matching your résumé against the job's own terms.
Who should pick which
AIApply makes sense if you want auto-apply and interview preparation from one provider, prefer the Hybrid approach, and are comfortable paying separately for tailoring.
Applysent makes sense if you want every application tailored by default, need to know which hiring systems are covered, and want a record you can check later. If you apply mainly in the UK, see auto-apply jobs in the United Kingdom for UK-specific detail.
Frequently asked questions
How much is AIApply Auto Apply?
Its help centre lists $49 a month for 100 applications, $99 a month for 250, and $199 a quarter for 750, checked October 2026. Tailored résumé and cover-letter add-ons are $12 a month each.
Does AIApply let me review applications first?
Yes. Its Review Mode requires your approval for every job, and Hybrid mode holds applications scoring below 75 for review.
Does Applysent offer interview practice like AIApply?
No. Applysent focuses on finding roles, tailoring, applying and tracking. You would need a separate tool for mock interviews.
Can I get a refund from AIApply?
Its refund policy says fees are generally non-refundable, with exceptions for verified technical issues and accidental purchases reported within 30 minutes. Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications are submitted.
Is there an AIApply Android app?
Its help centre says there is no Android app yet; the app is for iPhone (iOS 16.4 or later), and the web works on any device.
