LazyApply alternatives worth trying in 2026

Last updated 4 min read

Tsenta and Applysent are the LazyApply alternatives to try first if you want applications submitted without running a Chrome extension: Tsenta has a free plan, and Applysent is in invite-only early access. Jobbie suits people who want monthly billing at high volume with Indeed included, and Simplify suits those who still prefer an extension but want it free.

Why people look for an alternative to LazyApply

LazyApply sells an auto-apply tool delivered as a Chrome extension; its sign-up button links to the Chrome Web Store. Its homepage says it applies on Greenhouse, Dice, Indeed and ZipRecruiter, and another page names LinkedIn. Here is what its own pages say about how it is sold.

From lazyapply.com and its FAQ, checked 10 October 2026.
LazyApply planPrice (billed yearly)Daily applicationsRésumé profiles
Basic$99/yr151
Premium$149/yr1505
Ultimate$999/yr1,50020
  • Annual billing only. All three plans are priced per year, which is a long commitment if you hope to be hired within weeks.
  • No free trial. Its FAQ says plainly that there is no free trial.
  • A conditional refund. You can ask for a refund within 30 days if you have applied to fewer than 100 jobs and the product did not work as expected.
  • Extension-based. It is a Chrome extension, and whether the work runs in your browser or on its servers is not stated.
  • Unstated review and tailoring. Its site does not describe a review step or per-application résumé tailoring, though it offers separate cover-letter tools.

Full disclosure: Applysent is our product, so read its entry critically. The Applysent vs LazyApply comparison is more detailed, and the best auto-apply tools for 2026 page ranks every tool we cover.

Applysent: invite-only, no extension to run

Applysent runs on its side, so there is nothing to install and no browser to leave open. Access is invite-only during early access: join the waitlist, or use an access code to start straight away. Pricing has not been announced. It scores each role against your résumé, tailors the résumé, fills in the employer's form including custom questions, and keeps a receipt of everything sent. Review mode holds each one for approval; autopilot applies only inside your filters.

Where it falls short of LazyApply: it does not apply through Indeed or LinkedIn Easy Apply, it covers 10 hiring systems rather than job boards, and BambooHR and Paylocity are still on the coming-soon list. Pricing is not announced, and it is a new product without a public track record.

Suited to: people who want to try automated applying before paying, and who are applying mainly on employers' own career sites.

Tsenta: monthly from $19 after a free plan

Tsenta's free plan gives 25 applications with no card. After that, Starter is $19/mo for 600 applications per 30-day cycle and Pro is $39/mo for 1,500, with quarterly and annual options listed as up to 36% cheaper. It tailors a résumé and cover letter on every tier and names 19 hiring systems, including Greenhouse and Workday.

Suited to: people who want month-to-month billing and a broad list of supported systems.

Jobbie: monthly, high volume, Indeed included

Jobbie is the closest match if Indeed was the reason you chose LazyApply: it applies on Indeed after you connect your account, as well as on Greenhouse, Lever, Workday and other systems. The web plan is $29.99/mo for 1,000 applications a month, or $79.99 every 3 months. There is no free tier; the 7-day trial needs a card.

Suited to: high-volume applicants who want to pay monthly rather than yearly.

Simplify: a free extension that leaves submit to you

If you liked working in Chrome, Simplify's Copilot extension autofills applications for free; you check each form and submit it. Simplify+ ($19.99/week, $39.99/month or $89.99 per 3 months) adds tailoring, and an Autopilot beta for some members submits up to 20 a week.

Suited to: careful applicants sending a modest number of high-quality applications.

What to check before you switch

  1. Match the billing period to your likely search length. A yearly plan only pays off if you would otherwise pay monthly for many months.
  2. Check whether the tool tailors each application, not just fills fields. Our guide on whether auto-apply tools work explains why that matters.
  3. If you relied on LinkedIn or Indeed, read our LinkedIn alternative page to see what applying on employer sites involves.
  4. Read the refund terms and the failed-application policy before paying.
