Simplify alternatives worth trying in 2026
Last updated 5 min read
If you want applications sent without sitting at your laptop, Applysent, Jobbie and Tsenta are the main Simplify alternatives, because they submit the employer's form for you rather than autofilling it in your browser. AIApply suits people who want a hybrid setting between full automation and approval, and Massive suits US job seekers who want a set-and-forget service.
Why people look for an alternative to Simplify
Simplify is best known for Copilot, a free browser extension that autofills applications on company career sites in one click and logs them in a tracker. That is a good tool and many people keep it. The reasons to look elsewhere usually come down to how much of the work is still yours.
- You still submit. With Copilot you open each application, click autofill, check it and submit it yourself.
- Autopilot is limited. The Autopilot beta, which submits for you, is open to a subset of Simplify+ members, gives 20 credits a week with no rollover, and extra credits cannot be bought yet.
- No review on Autopilot. Its help centre says there is no step where you review an Autopilot application first.
- Non-refundable once active. Simplify+ costs $19.99/week, $39.99/month or $89.99 per 3 months (checked October 2026), and payments are non-refundable once the subscription is active.
- No published hiring-system list. Simplify does not publish which systems Autopilot supports.
Simplify does handle failures fairly: a credit is only spent when an application is actually submitted.
The alternatives in one table
| Tool | Best for | How it applies | Starting price (Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Applysent | Server-side applying with a review step | Fills the employer's own ATS form on its side | Not announced; invite-only (waitlist or access code) |
| Jobbie | Hundreds of applications a month | Automated, nothing to install; one-click or Autopilot | $29.99/mo for 1,000 applications |
| Tsenta | Many hiring systems, many devices | Agent submits; optional extension | Free (25 applications total), then $19/mo |
| AIApply | Auto-sending only strong matches | Auto, Hybrid or Review mode | $49/mo for 100 applications |
| Massive | A hands-off US search | Applies on its side; manual picks or Autopilot | Not published |
A note on bias: we make Applysent. Our Applysent vs Simplify page lays out the differences, and this 2026 list of auto-apply tools puts all of them in context. If the extension-versus-agent question is new to you, start with auto-apply vs autofill extensions.
Is Applysent a good Simplify replacement?
Applysent does the part Copilot leaves to you. It finds roles that fit your résumé and filters, tailors the résumé, fills in the employer's own form including custom questions, and submits it. Unlike Simplify's Autopilot beta, it has a review mode where nothing is sent until you approve, and you can switch to autopilot later. Each application gets a receipt with every field it filled.
It is not a full replacement in every case. Simplify says Copilot works on 100,000+ company career sites, far more than Applysent covers today: Applysent has 10 hiring systems live (Lever, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Greenhouse, Workday, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Teamtailor and JazzHR), with BambooHR and Paylocity coming. Pricing is not announced, there is no browser extension, and as a new product it has no track record yet.
Who it's for: people who want submission handled for them but still want to approve each application at first.
Is Jobbie a good Simplify replacement?
Jobbie says it runs around the clock with nothing to install, and applies on Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, Paylocity, JazzHR, Workable, BambooHR and Indeed. The web plan is $29.99/mo for 1,000 applications a month, a very different scale from 20 Autopilot credits a week. There is no free tier, and the 7-day trial needs a card.
Who it's for: people applying at high volume to Workday and Greenhouse employers.
Is Tsenta a good Simplify replacement?
Tsenta keeps an extension in the mix, so the switch feels familiar, but its main mode is an agent that submits for you. Its pricing page lists 19 hiring systems, it tailors résumés and cover letters on every plan, and the free plan gives 25 applications without a card. Starter is $19/mo for 600 per 30-day cycle.
Who it's for: Copilot users who want to try automatic submission without paying first.
Is AIApply a good Simplify replacement?
AIApply's Hybrid mode sends applications automatically when the fit score is 75 or higher and holds weaker matches for your review. Auto Apply starts at $49/mo for 100 applications, with tailored résumés and cover letters as $12/mo add-ons. It also includes interview-practice tools.
Who it's for: people who want automation only for the clearest matches.
Is Massive a good Simplify replacement?
Massive describes itself as set-and-forget: it finds new jobs daily and applies, either to jobs you pick or on Autopilot, up to 200 a month. It writes a custom résumé, cover letter and a message to the hiring team for each job. Prices are not published, its terms say payments are non-refundable, and it is operated from the US with a US visa-sponsorship filter.
Who it's for: US-based job seekers who want a hands-off service and can find out pricing directly.
How to choose between them
- Count how many applications you send in a week now. If it is well under 20, Simplify's Autopilot beta may already be enough.
- Decide whether you need to approve each application. Only some tools offer a review mode alongside full automation.
- Check the hiring systems your shortlisted employers use, such as Greenhouse or Ashby.
- Keep your tracker. Whatever you choose, one list of every application avoids duplicate submissions; our tracking guide shows how.
Frequently asked questions
Is Simplify Copilot free?
Yes. Copilot, the autofill extension, is free. Simplify+ adds tailoring and is priced at $19.99/week, $39.99/month or $89.99 per 3 months as of October 2026.
Does Simplify apply to jobs automatically?
Only through its Autopilot beta, available to a subset of Simplify+ members, with 20 credits a week. Copilot fills forms but you submit them.
Can I use Simplify and an auto-apply tool together?
Yes, as long as you avoid applying to the same role twice. Keeping one tracker and checking it before each submission prevents duplicates.
Which Simplify alternative lets me review before sending?
Applysent has a review mode where nothing is sent until you approve. AIApply has Review and Hybrid modes, and Tsenta says you approve before send.
Does Applysent have a browser extension?
No. Applysent fills in employer forms on its side, so you do not need to keep a browser open.
