Massive alternatives worth trying in 2026

Last updated 5 min read

Tsenta and AIApply are the clearest Massive alternatives if you want published prices and a review step you control, and both return credits for applications that do not go through. Applysent fits people who want review mode plus a receipt for every submission, while Simplify and Applystead's Standard plan suit those who want to approve or submit everything themselves.

Why people look for an alternative to Massive

Massive, run by Do a Huddle, Inc. in New York, is a set-and-forget service: it finds new jobs daily and applies for you, either to jobs you pick or on Autopilot. It writes a custom résumé, cover letter and message to the hiring team for each job, and uses a managed email address per application. People who compare it with other tools usually do so because of what its terms say.

Pricing you cannot see in advance

No prices appeared on its homepage in October 2026, and its pricing URL returned an error. The only stated volume is up to 200 applications a month.

Review is not guaranteed

The homepage says you can preview résumés and cover letters and that it shows exactly what it submits. Its terms, however, say applications may be submitted automatically without further notice or approval, and that a review period is not guaranteed.

No refunds, and US focus

The terms state that all payments are non-refundable, with no prorated refunds, and that successful submission is not guaranteed. The service is operated from the US and makes no claim to suit users elsewhere.

Applysent is our product; keep that in mind when reading its section. A detailed side-by-side is at Applysent vs Massive, and the 2026 auto-apply tools ranking covers the wider field.

Tsenta, for prices on the page

Tsenta lists every plan publicly: Free with 25 applications, Starter $19/mo for 600 per cycle, Pro $39/mo for 1,500 and Power $99/mo for 4,500. Its homepage says you approve before send, and anything that did not reach the employer is returned to your allowance. It names 19 hiring systems and tailors a résumé and cover letter on every plan.

Right for: people who want to know the cost and the volume before signing up.

AIApply, for a dial between auto and review

AIApply's Review Mode requires approval for every job, Hybrid only auto-sends at a fit score of 75 or more, and Auto Mode sends everything that matches your criteria. Auto Apply prices are in its help centre: $49/mo for 100, $99/mo for 250, $199 per quarter for 750. Failed or unsupported applications use no credit, and unused credits roll over while subscribed.

Right for: people who liked Massive's Autopilot idea but want it limited to strong matches.

Applysent, for a record of each submission

In Applysent's review mode nothing is sent until you approve it, and you can edit the tailored résumé or any answer first. Every application gets a receipt with each field filled and the text of every free-text answer. Like Massive, it offers an optional dedicated application email address, and it never sends email from your own account. If a submission fails, the application is refunded to your balance.

Weak spots: pricing is not announced, BambooHR and Paylocity are not live yet, it skips LinkedIn Easy Apply and Indeed, and it is new with no public reviews. It applies wherever employers post on those systems, not only in the US.

Right for: people outside the US, or anyone who wants written proof of what went out.

Simplify, for staying hands-on

Simplify's free Copilot extension fills in application forms and you submit them, so nothing goes out without you. Simplify+ ($39.99/month) adds tailored résumés and cover letters. Note that its payments are non-refundable once a subscription is active, and its Autopilot beta has no review step.

Right for: people who decided full automation is not for them.

Applystead, for a no-auto-submit plan

Applystead's Standard plan states "No automatic submissions": it fills the employer's form and you click to send, up to 200 a day. It costs $200/mo, or $70/mo billed yearly ($840). Premium adds automatic applying from $350/mo billed yearly, and a free résumé tailor needs no account.

Right for: people who want a written guarantee of manual approval and can justify the price.

How to choose

  • Read the terms, not just the homepage, for what the tool may send without asking you.
  • Prefer services that list prices and refund rules before you enter payment details.
  • Check that failed applications are not charged.
  • Test with a few applications and inspect them. Our guide to screening-question answers shows what a good answer looks like.
  • If you are not in the US, confirm the tool works where you are; see auto-apply in Australia or Germany for examples.
