The Functional Lead is responsible for driving functional excellence, solution governance, and successful delivery across Sophis/Fusion Invest engagements. Acting as the senior functional authority, this role ensures solution quality, consulting standards, capability development, and strong customer outcomes while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional lead for Sophis/Fusion Invest, defining delivery standards, best practices, and implementation methodologies.
• Provide governance across multiple programs, validating requirements, solution designs, and alignment with customer objectives.
• Lead complex end-to-end solution design across trading, portfolio management, risk, operations, accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Act as the escalation point for critical functional issues and support projects through Discovery, Design, Build, UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare phases.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, lead workshops, and translate business challenges into solution roadmaps.
• Mentor and develop functional consultants through coaching, training, recruitment, onboarding, and career development initiatives.
• Drive practice growth through reusable assets, methodologies, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Support pre-sales activities, RFPs, proposals, customer assessments, and large-scale transformation programs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Capital Markets or Asset Management; with Sophis/Fusion Invest (advantage).
• Deep expertise in one or more areas: Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Accounting, Risk Management, Asset Management, or Investment Operations.
• Strong knowledge of configuration, workflows, data models, product architecture, troubleshooting, implementation methodologies, upgrades, and migrations.
• Proven leadership of enterprise-scale implementations and consulting teams.
• Strong client-facing consulting experience with a track record of delivering complex customer engagements.
