Power Transmission and Distribution Expert

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise transmission and distribution infrastructure works at the project site.
• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and contractor submissions.
• Monitor the installation of electrical equipment, substations, transformers, cables, and associated infrastructure, as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, relevant standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, utility agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
• Inspect site works and ensure corrective actions are taken for any deviations.
• Review method statements, inspection requests, and quality documentation submitted by contractors.
• Prepare site inspection reports and provide regular progress updates to the project management team.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and applicable regulations.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in power transmission and distribution projects.
• Experience in site supervision, construction monitoring, quality control, and contractor coordination.
• Good knowledge of electrical infrastructure, substations, transmission and distribution networks, and relevant technical standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
