Für unseren Standort in Parndorf im Burgenland (Österreich) suchen wir ab sofort eine(n) MitarbeiterIn Saatgutqualitätslabor (m/w/d)

Ihr Aufgabenbereich:

• Durchführung und Auswertung von Keimfähigkeitstests nach gültigen Methoden und Standards.
• Durchführung und Auswertung von Testungen von autorisierten Proben gemäß fachlicher Befähigung des Bundesamtes für Ernährungssicherheit (BAES) für Mais und Sonnenblume.
• Veranlassung von Korrektur- und Vorbeugungsmaßnahmen, korrekte Dokumentation, Unterstützung bei Audits zur Einhaltung von QMS-Anforderungen gemäß erhaltener Schulungen.
• Unterstützung bei der Probenvorbereitung und Organisation von Laborabläufen.
• Instandhaltung und Reinigung der Laborausrüstung.
• Kommunikation mit internen und externen Ansprechpartnern in deutscher und englischer Sprache
• Einhaltung von Qualitäts-, Sicherheits- und Laborrichtlinien

Ihr Profil:

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im naturwissenschaftlichen, landwirtschaftlichen oder technischen Bereich von Vorteil
• Interesse an Pflanzen, Saatgut und Laborarbeit
• Genaues, zuverlässiges und selbstständiges Arbeiten
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Gute EDV-Kenntnisse, insbesondere in Microsoft Office und Excel
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit Laborinformationssystemen von Vorteil
• Gute Kommunikation- und Teamfähigkeit sowie ein hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein

For our site in Parndorf, Burgenland (Austria), we are currently seeking a Seed Quality Laboratory Technician (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities:

• Conducting and evaluating germination tests in accordance with established methods and standards.
• Performing and evaluating tests on authorized samples for maize and sunflower, in compliance with the technical qualifications mandated by the Austrian Federal Office for Food Safety (BAES).
• Initiating corrective and preventive actions, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing support during audits to ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, as per training received.
• Assisting with sample preparation and the organization of laboratory workflows.
• Maintaining and cleaning laboratory equipment.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders in both German and English.
• Adhering to quality, safety, and laboratory guidelines.

Your Profile:

• Completed education or training in a scientific, agricultural, or technical field is an advantage.
• An interest in plants, seeds, and laboratory work.
• A precise, reliable, and independent approach to work.
• Good proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a high level of quality awareness.

What We Offer:

As an international company, we offer performance-based compensation, various employee benefits, and opportunities for professional development. The minimum monthly gross salary for this position starts at EUR 2,500, depending on your qualifications.
