[TEST] Software Development Intern

The Software Development Intern is primarily responsible for coordinating project activities, reporting on project statuses and conducting initial testing on the software systems. This is a hands-on position where the intern and other technical resources work in an agile team environment to provide the technical capabilities that support AHRI’s mission and its member organizations.

Principal Duties:

Coordinates project activities with the project stakeholders, the development team and external partners and vendorsReports on project statuses and alerts management of potential road blocksWorks with software developers and end users to test and document new projects and project enhancementsHands on testing of systems and processes prior to releaseCommunicates with project team on milestones and propose solutions to address issues encountered by the teamCompletes all required project and service documentation

Skills Required:

Ability to conduct software testingAbility to organize and coordinate projectsCan collaborate well with other team members in an agile environmentExperience using Microsoft Project is a plusProficient with Microsoft Office productsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills that enable the individual to work in a team with diverse skills and experience in order to respond to business needs.Attention to detailAble to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence and regulationsProgramming Languages:JavaScriptPHPPythonBash
