Cardiac Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiac Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the surgical management of complex cardiac conditions and experience performing advanced cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform cardiac surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and valve surgery.
• Manage complex cardiac cases requiring surgical intervention.
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Manage surgical complications and cardiac emergencies.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac case discussions and clinical meetings.
• Counsel patients and families regarding surgical options, risks, expected outcomes, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and surgical documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS/MCh/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery / Cardiac Surgery.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Strong experience in adult cardiac surgery and complex cardiac procedures.
• Experience in minimally invasive cardiac surgery is an advantage.
• Excellent surgical judgment, technical skills, and clinical decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
