Deli Supervisor (Full-Time) SPAR Oranmore

SPAR Oranmore is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Deli Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the deli department, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food safety standards, and supervising team members to deliver a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operation of the deli department

Lead and support deli team members

Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures

Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation standards

Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management

Support training and development of team members

Ensure the deli department is clean, organised, and fully stocked

Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally

Work collaboratively with store management and other departments

Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail environment is desirable. Supervisory experience would be an advantage

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Good organisational and time management abilities

Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles is desirable

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and public holidays where required

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Reliable, positive, and customer-focused attitude

Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail environment is desirable. Supervisory experience would be an advantage
