Vice President
Position Overview
Position Purpose
Lead the operational execution of international market activity, ensuring that logistics, financial
instruments, legal and tax compliance, job-site coordination, local material sourcing, and later-stage
sales support are aligned for each market the company enters.
Primary Accountabilities
International Logistics
Own the end-to-end logistics process for international work. Determine the appropriate Incoterms,
coordinate shipping with Shaw, and ensure that all required shipping and commercial documentation is
complete, accurate, and available when needed.
Financial Instruments
Own the process for international financial instruments, including bank guarantees and irrevocable
letters of credit (ILOCs). Coordinate with Bank of America and the relevant counterparty bank to
establish, review, and administer the required instruments.
Legal and Counterparty Compliance
Ensure that prospective clients and suppliers complete and receive the required Shaw compliance
approvals before business is undertaken.
Tax and Market-Entry Compliance
Work with Shaw Tax to understand the tax implications of entering each market. Assess both
commercial barriers—such as significant import taxes—and structural tax risks, including the potential
creation of a permanent establishment (PE).

Local Steel Supply / PanelClaw
Work with PanelClaw Holland (Enstall) to develop local steel-sourcing options and define an appropriate
sourcing strategy for each market WG enters.
Later-Stage Sales Support
Support sales opportunities deeper in the funnel after a relationship has been established with a
