ROLE OVERVIEW

Join us as a Senior Software Engineer building the next generation of AI products. This is a hands-on senior software development role: you'll spend roughly 80% of your time designing, building, and shipping full-stack product features and backend services, working with the latest AI, cloud, and developer technologies to deliver solutions used across the organization. The remaining ~20% is platform work — keeping the cloud environments, data pipelines, and deployment tooling behind our AI products reliable and secure.

Working closely with product and engineering, you will own features end to end — from technical design through release and iteration — while contributing to the CI/CD, infrastructure, and security practices that keep our AI platforms running well.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Software Engineering

<ul>

<li>Build full-stack applications: Design, develop, and maintain Python & Node.js backend services and modern React frontends, delivering reliable APIs and intuitive user experiences. </li>

<li>Own delivery end to end: Translate business requirements into technical solutions, leading features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration. </li>

<li>Develop integrations: Connect products with social media platforms, enterprise systems, external APIs, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, handling authentication, data synchronization, and failures reliably. </li>

<li>Shape technical architecture: Make thoughtful decisions about application structure, data models, performance, and scalability, balancing delivery needs with long-term maintainability. </li>

<li>Raise engineering quality: Write clean, well-tested code, lead constructive code reviews, mentor developers, and improve engineering practices. </li>

<li>Automation and Productivity: Use AI agents and tooling to build a robust, highly productive and fast paced engineering environment. </li>

<li>Build for production: Embed security, monitoring, and observability into applications; troubleshoot issues and improve reliability and performance. </li>

<li>Collaborate across teams: Work closely with product, design, and engineering to clarify requirements, identify risks, and deliver practical solutions. </li>

Platform & DevOps

<ul>

<li>Maintain efficient cloud infrastructure and development environments. </li>

<li>Build and maintain data pipelines supporting AI products. </li>

<li>Improve platform reliability, monitoring, logging, and performance. </li>

<li>Ensure data quality, governance, and secure data handling. </li>

<li>Implement secure deployment practices, CI/CD, and automated quality gates. </li>

<li>Support dependency management, vulnerability remediation, and security testing. </li>

<li>Ensure products follow secure coding standards and compliance requirements. </li>

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

<ul>

<li>BSc or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. </li>

<li>6+ years of professional software development experience, including backend and full-stack delivery. </li>

<li>Working familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build), Docker, and cloud infrastructure management. </li>

<li>Working knowledge of application security, including secure coding, IAM, OAuth/SSO, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices. </li>

<li>Experience developing full-stack applications and APIs using modern technologies.  </li>

<li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to support production environments and improve application reliability. </li>

<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, engineering, infrastructure, and security teams in an Agile environment. </li>

<li>Experience with TypeScript, React, Tailwind, and Node.js. </li>

<li>Experience with untyped languages such as Python for backend development, along with relevant data management libraries. </li>

<li>Familiarity with production application deployment and maintenance on AWS and/or Google Cloud. </li>

<li>Familiarity with data orchestration and pipeline management. </li>

<li>Experience with SQL and NoSQL based systems. </li>

<li>Demonstrated experience owning and delivering projects end to end. </li>

</ul>

NICE TO HAVE

<ul>

<li>Experience integrating APIs, building automation workflows (e.g., n8n), and working with AI/LLM platforms such as Gemini, Vertex AI, OpenAI, or Claude. </li>

<li>Familiarity with UX flows and writing specs/SOPs. </li>

<li>Exposure to automation or agentic workflows. </li>

<li>Hands-on experience with AI, LLM, and RAG-based systems. </li>

<li>‘Big Tech’ or large-scale product engineering experience. </li>

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $135,000–$165,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, level of responsibility, internal equity, and business needs.
