Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
OEM Client Feature Development: Lead and participate in the definition, development, and integration of new BIOS features specifically tailored for Lenovo DT/WS projects.
Module Maintenance & Porting: Support the regular release and maintenance of functional modules; assist in the porting and adaptation of modules based on mainstream Intel/AMD client platforms.
Issue Troubleshooting: Independently analyze and resolve daily BIOS issues, bugs, and compatibility problems encountered during the development and testing phases.
On-site Support: Provide on-site technical support and communication at the customer's site to ensure the smooth delivery of new features and project milestones.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
Around 3 years of UEFI BIOS development experience. Proven hands-on experience with Lenovo DT/WS or similar OEM Client projects is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of UEFI BIOS principles and architecture (AMI or EDKII).
Proficient in C programming and familiar with common BIOS debugging tools and methods.
Familiar with x86 architecture and related industry protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB, ACPI). Beyond x86 platform development experience, hands-on experience with ARM or RISC-V platforms is highly preferred.
Good understanding of Intel & AMD Desktop and Mobile platform chipsets, or experience with domestic platforms (e.g., Phytium, Loongson, Kunpeng).
Good English reading and writing skills, capable of reading technical specifications and conducting basic spoken communication with global teams.
Ability to work under pressure, flexible to company arrangements, and willing to travel for business (especially for on-site client support).
