Offshore Methods / Installation Engineer

<p>ISS International Spa is seeking two (2) Offshore Methods / Installation Engineers with strong experience in Asset Engineering for Offshore Construction / Installation Vessels.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><span>The engineer will be part of the Asset Engineering Team responsible for the execution of the follow activities:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Develop Conceptual, Basic and Detail engineering related to new vessel equipment and their up-grades</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support to the ASSET function as it may be required for specific vessel maintenance activities and drydocks</span></p></li><li><p><span>Involvement of HSE Engineering for scopes review, as needed.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Technical Bid Evaluation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Technical support-follow up with vendors</span></p></li><li><p><span>Technical support (Technical Manager) of Shipyards activities from engineering to works supervision related to new vessels/equip.&nbsp; and up-grades .</span></p></li><li><p><span>For new and upgraded vessel, if required, Engineering Class Approval liaising with ABS, RINA, DNV.</span></p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Extensive experience in Asset Engineering for offshore vessels</p></li><li><p>University degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with structural analysis software (ANSYS, MSC NASTRAN, SACS, etc.)</p></li><li><p><span>Familiar with Structural design main industry Codes, Standards and Design Guides (API, DNV and ISO).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiar with supervision of steel construction works and offshore equipment maintenance</span></p></li><li><p>Fluency in English</p></li></ul><p><strong>Work Location: </strong>Abu Dhabi</p><p>Duration - 12 months</p><div><p></p></div><div><p></p></div>
