Hiring now. A cementing yard in Red Deer needs Class 1 drivers, a pressure pumping crew hires from anywhere in Alberta with crew housing out of town, and Class 3 holders have a route too. The Jobs for Red Deer Drivers

Cementing Yard, Red Deer: Bulk Driver 2 and Operator 2 (Class 1)

Licence: Class 1, manual transmission (no automatic-only restriction).

Experience: 1 year of driving preferred, not required.

Pay: Bulk Driver 2: $75,000 to $110,000 a year. Operator 2: $80,000 to $140,000 a year. Salary plus job bonuses; actual earnings depend on job volume and competency level (employer estimate, not guaranteed).

Rotation: 15 days on (on call the full 15), 6 days off.

Pressure Pumping Crew, Grande Prairie North: 5 Class 1 Seats

Work: Coil tubing, fracing and pressure pumping.

Licence: Class 1. A MELT-only licence does not qualify (insurance).

Experience: 3 years of documented Class 1 driving (firm). Off-road, lease-road, construction or heavy-industry driving is a big plus. Oilfield experience preferred, not required.

Pay: In writing from the employer: $40 an hour driving a Class 1 unit, $32 to $36 an hour on field work depending on experience, some shop or travel hours at $20 an hour.

Housing: Class 1 drivers from anywhere in Alberta can apply. Crew housing when you are out of town.

Rotation: Confirmed before any offer.

Benefits: Start after 3 months. RRSP matching after 6 months.

Class 3 Route: Wireline Crew, Edmonton Area Shop

Getting there: You must be able to get to the Edmonton area shop.

Licence: Class 1 or Class 3, standard shift (manual transmission), with a clean abstract reviewed under the employer's driving standard.

Pay: In writing from the employer: $45,000 annual salary plus field bonuses. A typical operator earns $40,000 to $60,000 in total during the December to March season.

Location: January to March is field and camp work across northern Alberta, travelling with the wireline crew. Alberta residents only.

Rotation: 21 days on, 7 days off from January to March. 15 days on, 6 days off the rest of the year. Shift work with 24 hours on call.
