About the role

<p>As a Senior Fleet Personnel Officer for <strong>BSM Cruise</strong>, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the safe, compliant, and efficient manning of cruise vessels. Acting as a key link between sea and shore, you will oversee crew planning, recruitment, rotation, and performance to ensure exceptional service standards onboard while fully adhering to maritime regulations and customer expectations.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Execute cruise vessel manning plans by identifying, evaluating, and selecting qualified seafarers in line with flag state, customer, and company requirements.</p></li><li><p>Review and issue employment contracts ensuring full compliance with international, national, and cruise‑sector standards.</p></li><li><p>Plan and implement crew rotations and End‑of‑Contract procedures to maintain uninterrupted vessel operations.</p></li><li><p>Monitor current and upcoming vacancies, supporting the development of annual manning plans.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate embarkation and disembarkation logistics, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost‑effective arrangements.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate crew records and documentation.</p></li><li><p>Act as the primary contact for shipboard management teams on all standard and emergency crewing matters.</p></li><li><p>Communicate operational changes, ensuring vessel teams receive updated procedures and documentation.</p></li><li><p>Assess crew performance, identify training needs, and collaborate with training centers.</p></li><li><p>Optimize crew travel, accommodation, and related costs, ensuring value‑for‑money procurement.</p></li><li><p>Support compliance with maritime and cruise‑industry regulations, including coordination with flag state authorities.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree or certificate in a maritime, hospitality, or HR‑related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>5 years’ experience</strong> in fleet personnel operations, marine HR, or cruise‑sector crewing.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in employment contract administration, crew planning, and maritime compliance.</p></li><li><p>Experience in the cruise industry (hotel or marine departments) is a strong advantage.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with maritime labour law, seafarers’ rights, and cruise‑sector manning requirements.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong understanding of cruise vessel crew requirements, including both deck/engine and hotel operations.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of global and local employment markets within the cruise sector.</p></li><li><p>Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.</p></li><li><p>Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders, including shipboard and shore‑based management.</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail and strong commitment to compliance.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and fluency in English.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in MS Office, HR systems, and digital collaboration tools.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Why You Should Join Us!</strong></p><p>We offer a supportive environment, competitive compensation, and meaningful opportunities.
