About the role

Do you want to work with stakeholders at all levels across a multinational pharmaceutical company? Are you skilled at handling data and do you have good communication skills? Are you academically strong and want to use your abilities to make your own mark on the world?

Then an internship in Drug Product Manufacturing (DPM) at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies (FLBD) in Hillerød is the place for you. An internship at FLBD includes specific tasks related to management, such as following up on the execution of Operational Readiness, as well as tasks related to process establishment and execution.

You will be part of a large international project that you can influence, while gaining an exceptional opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of a wide range of processes of different natures in a large international company in rapid development. You get your foot into the biotechnology industry and get to work directly with a new high-tech filling-line, as well as the critical operations management systems and underlying culture that enable operations. You are keen to make a difference by being part of a factory that delivers medicine to patients.

What you’ll do:

  • Participate in projects of different natures.
  • Perform communication tasks.
  • Conduct data analysis and visualization.
  • Independently drive larger or smaller projects.
  • Facilitate board meetings.
  • Design operations management systems.
  • Train and coach various LEAN tools.
  • Perform various ad-hoc tasks.

About you:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant education in Denmark.
  • Good oral and written skills in English.
  • Able to analyze different types of data/processes and draw concrete, relevant conclusions.
  • You show commitment, curiosity, and drive.
  • Proficient IT skills are an advantage; skills within the Microsoft Office suite are required.
  • You may get to work extensively with Tableau, Alteryx, and Microsoft Power Suite.
  • Your learning and development during your time at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies Denmark is owned by you - you set the ambition and direction yourself.

Everyday life as an intern in DPM meets your creative skills and curious qualities, while there is great independence and freedom in solving tasks. You can influence your role as an intern, depending on your interests, skills, and ambitions. This means, among other things, that you can try your hand at different roles such as facilitator, project manager on smaller projects, and independent tasks.

In DPM, we work with SHINGO’s Principles of Culture of Excellence, and this is a fantastic opportunity to help build a LEAN organization from scratch if your interests and skills match the task.

Practicalities:

  • Internship type: Full-time (37 hours/week)
  • Duration: 5–6 months
  • Start: 1 February 2027
  • Location: Hillerød, Denmark

Eligibility requirement:

  • It is a requirement that students receive full ECTS credits for the semester to be considered for the internship.
  • Your enrolment must permit a full-time internship (for work-permit compliance).

Application process:

Please submit your resume and cover letter in English as soon as possible, detailing your experience and motivation for applying to this internship. Also confirm that you can start in February 2027 and complete a 5–6 month, full-time (37 hours/week) internship as part of your education, awarding ECTS points, and that you are permitted to do a full-time internship while enrolled in your academic program (for work-permit purposes).
