Facilities Engineer

We are seeking an Engineer to join our ASFM team at Al Shirawi Facilities Management LLC.

• The role involves managing facilities operations and assisting the Facilities Manager at Arcadia Global School in Dubai Furjan.
• The Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the school's facilities.
• They will work closely with the Facilities Manager to implement and oversee the efficient functioning of various facilities, including coordinating with the onsite facilities team, handling specialized services, and addressing the school's operational needs within the facilities management scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
• Proficiency in using facilities management software and tools.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods.
• Handle the day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities at Arcadia Global School.
• Assist the Facilities Manager in implementing and managing assigned facilities.
• Coordinate and supervise the onsite facilities team, including technicians, housekeeping staff, and security guards.
• Manage specialized services and ensure their timely and effective delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client at the school site, addressing their daily operational requirements.
• Fulfill facilities management-related needs and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports on facilities management activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide support and guidance to the facilities team as needed.
