HSE Officer

HSE Officer – Job Profile Conduct regular site safety inspections and monitor daily HSE activities. Ensure compliance with project HSE procedures, policies, and applicable regulations . Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards and report them for corrective action. Monitor proper use of PPE and implementation of safe working practices. Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions . Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, lifting, scaffolding, excavation, confined space, and hot works . Verify compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) requirements and approved control measures. Report and assist in investigating incidents, near misses, and safety observations . Follow up on HSE observations and corrective actions until closure. Monitor site housekeeping, access, emergency arrangements, and safety signage. Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and project teams on daily HSE matters. Maintain HSE inspection records, checklists, reports, and documentation . Immediately report serious HSE concerns and unsafe activities to the HSE Engineer/Project Management .
